BLIMP – Scoring Balloon Catheter

The Blimp Scoring Balloon Catheter is a rapid exchange single use device, consisting of a hub with strain relief to prevent for kinking of the hub to shaft connection, a proximal shaft made of a thin hypo tube, a polymer distal shaft in decreasing diameter to aid in entering small vessels. An expandable balloon is positioned at the distal end of the shaft having a radiopaque marker at the balloon center for aid in positioning. The marker is visible with fluoroscopy. The most distal end and distally from the balloon, contains the Rapid Exchange (Rx) section for the guide wire enabling to pass the guide wire over the balloon.

For aid in insertion of the Blimp in the guide catheter, depth markings are applied on the shaft to indicate that the distal tip of the catheter is at the level of the distal tip of the guiding catheter (95 and 105 cm).

GUIDION – Rapid Exchange Guide Extension

The Guidion Rapid Exchange Guide Extension has a hub, a proximal wire shaft and distal tubing. The distal tubing is re-enforced with a coil and ends in an integrated soft distal end to facilitate advancement of the device through a guiding catheter and into the main coronary vessels. In addition the outer surface of the distal end of the distal tubing is provided with a hydrophilic coating. To aid in the placement the Guidion has a radiopaque distal end that is visible with fluoroscopy. The Guidion has two depth markings located at 95 cm and 105 cm from the distal tip to indicate that the distal tip of the catheter is at the level of the distal tip of the guiding catheter.

The Guidion will be used in guiding catheters of 90 and 100 cm length, supplied with accessories and will be able to extend maximal 15 cm from a guiding catheter.

NHANCER RX – Dual Lumen RX Micro Catheter

The NHancer Rx is a dual lumen Rapid Exchange single use device, consisting of a hub, a shaft, a distal tip at the Rx section and a proximal tip at the OTW section. The NHancer Rx has an over the wire (OTW) lumen that runs the length of the catheter and a rapid exchange (Rx) delivery lumen on the distal end. The NHancer Rx has two depth markings located at 95 cm and 105 cm from the distal tip to indicate that the distal tip of the catheter is at the level of the distal tip of the guiding catheter. As aid in positioning the NHancer Rx has a radiopaque marker, visible with fluoroscopy, identifying the distal end of the catheter and a second radiopaque marker identifies the distal end of the OTW lumen.

To ease catheter loading into the hemostasis device and the guiding catheter a removable stiffening stylet is placed in the OTW lumen at delivery.

NHANCER PRO X – Hybrid Guide Wire Support Catheter

The NHancer Pro X is a single use device, consisting of a hub with strain relief, shaft, distal tip and torquer. The strain relief is to avoid kinking of the shaft. On the shaft depth markings are applied to indicate that the distal tip of the catheter is at the level of the distal tip of the guiding catheter (95 and 105 cm). As aid in positioning the tip of the catheter the distal tip is provided with radiopaque material to make the distal tip visible with fluoroscopy. The device provides a torquer that can be used to lock the proximal part of the catheter to the wire in such way that the guide wire and the NHancer Pro X act as being one integral device.

TrapIT – Trapping Balloon Catheter

The TrapIT Trapping Balloon Catheter is a single use device, consisting of a hub, shaft and balloon. The hub is provided with strain relief to prevent kinking of the shaft. The shaft is provided with a stiffening wire to aid in positioning the balloon. The expandable balloon is positioned close to the distal tip. As aid in positioning the balloon the distal tip is provided with a radiopaque marker to make the tip visible with fluoroscopy.

The TrapIT will not be used over a guide wire and has thus no guide wire lumen.

As aid in positioning the balloon in a guide catheter a 90 or 100 cm tactile feedback stop is integrated in the shaft at the respective specific length for the used guide catheter.

For use with a 90 cm guiding catheter, the shaft of the 100 cm compatible TrapIT is provided with a depth marking to indicate that the distal tip of the catheter is at the level of the distal tip of the guiding catheter.
